    • Glee tackles suicide (SPOILERS)

      Tonight was a little rough.

Dave Karofsky, the athlete who mercilessly bullied Kurt, then came out to him, then confessed his love, tries to take his own life. Through the rest of the episode, the Glee gang talks about how important it is to look toward the future when times get tough.

They visit Karofsky and pray for him, Mr. Schu shares a time when he considered taking his own life, and there are moments of debate between Quinn and others about how serious things must be for someone to consider suicide. Some of the group moments are a little corny, but overall it’s well done.

We were graced with a PSA for The Trevor Project where Daniel Radcliffe tells us that the bravest thing you can do is admit you need help. It was short, simple and powerful, and a great complement to the heaviness of this episode.

On a much less serious note, the final moments just before Finn and Rachel’s potential wedding have led to a lot of talk about sparks between Quinn and Rachel, or at least signs of Quinn pining for Rachel. As I’m sure many of you know, Tumblr is ablaze with hints from the episode where Quinn seems to be sad about Rachel and Finn’s wedding, though that could be for a number of reasons. Is there any truth to that speculation?

      Talk to me.
